Last week the infamous DJ Neil Amstrong came down to visit Sunny Southern California for a little DJ Showcase. All of us at EK5OBITION have been fans of Mr. Armstrong’s remixes and influence in the music community. So being the fan boys that we are, we decided to take a break from work and head out to Alhambra to check him out, and Erok was able to catch some footage of the night.
If you’re not familiar with DJ Neil Armstrong, his current acomplishment has been Jay-Z’s tour DJ and now Adidas Spokesperson, but what we know him as is the remix artist and panty dropper. If you’ve heard his “Bittersweet” Series you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about.

With the EK5OBITION crew burnt out from the crazy weekend, we all decided to just lounge out on a Sunday afternoon. Catching up with each others personal lives and the usual shenanigans that we seem to get ourselves into, and one thing that did come up is Erok’s new camera. It seems that Erok has been taking a liking to his new camera. Lucky bastard.
We were just skimming through his photos and this one popped up. FLASHBACK TIME!!!
Ek5obition has been around for a long time and to verify that fact would be the logo on the top left of the record crate. That logo has been around since 1998. If you fast forward and go counter clockwise, we have logos from 2006, 2008 and 2009. The only logo that is missing is our recent + logo.
Okay, back to the present. We are just finalizing our latest release as well as a couple of others!!!

So our previous post, “We Invade Bridges” might be a little over exaggerated. The Bridges crew has been supporting us for almost 6 years now and us vice versa, so we can’t really invade something that we already support. Our arrival at Bridges was more like “We are checking in at Bridges.”
Anyway our own JustPudge decided to hop on the 1’s and 2’s and give the crowd some love.
